ABRASIVE PAPER INTERLEAF FLAP WHEELS
ABRASIVE PAPER INTERLEAF FLAP WHEELS
They are composed of strips of abrasive “non-woven fabric” alternated with abrasive paper strips glued radially around a core.
They are manufactured in various grains, using “non-woven fabric” with silicon carbide.
They are available in different formats and can be used on automatic or semiautomatic machines. Abrasive paper interleaf flap wheels are built in long rolls and then cut to the required thicknesses.
They can be used both on flat and shaped surfaces, adapting perfectly to the shape of the profile.
Abrasive paper interleaf flap wheels work in one direction of rotation only.
ADVANTAGES
- Can be profiled to perfectly fit the shape of the product being machined
- The abrasive regenerates automatically during machining, keeping cutting and finishing capacity constant
- Can be used sequentially with various grain combinations
- Allow for a greater roughing compared to TNT flaps
