The Vulkollan  contact flaps wheels are composed of flaps glued on an aluminum hub, while in the Vulkollan  flat contact wheels the material directly covers the hub with a thickness of about 20 / 25mm.
They ensure a high performance and durability of the abrasive belt, continually reviving the cutting action.
